SIGNED BY AUTHOR on front free endpaper, and inscribed to the Hon. Paul R. Greever, who was a United States Representative from Wyoming and also served as the mayor of Cody, Wyoming. Next to the author's inscription is a gift inscription signed by Paul R. Greever to Meyer Rankin who was an attorney and town clerk in Cody.

This is the ORIGINAL hardcover book, not a later softcover reprint and is very hard to find. 63pp. B/w photos. Frontispiece is b/w photo of the statue of Colonel Cody by Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney. Green cloth covers have a b/w photo pastedown of Buffalo Bill Cody and his horse, and white lettering and decoration.

Top and bottom of spine and cover corners are very lightly rubbed.
