Privately printed in Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. 164pp. Index. Large folded map of Martha's Vineyard in rear. Maps on endpapers.

Inscription on front flyleaf reads: Mildred White Yoars, Pheasant Field Seven Gates Farm The Vineyard, 1959 - one of the sponsors. The book was sponsored by the Massachusetts Audubon Society. Pen note by former owner on p. 146 takes credit for a yellow-headed blackbird sighting. Small newspaper clipping laid in references the former owner and her sightings (some light shadowing of pages from that clipping where it's laid in). DJ edges have a few small tears, with creasing near them. Top rear DJ edge is missing a one-inch triangular piece. DJ spine is sunned.
